We used the hill peak services in June 24 Sikkim trip , the plan they made it was so efficient. Given taxies were well maintained, drivers were very experts Spacial in hills, where GPS don't work. One taxi which I used for 2 days. It's seat belt was not working, car was got breakdown, break shoe repairing. Overall services were good, plan was cost & time effective. Hill peak was my tour operator through Dolphin Travels for my Darjeeling-Kalimpong tour from 23rd May-- 27th May 2024. Day 1: The Driver didn't come to pick me from Bagdogra Airport. His phone was on "No Answer" from previous day. After waiting for an hour, I hired a car on my own, informing the tour operator. Day2: Tour to Mirik was alright till the car mate a near accident with another car. It got injured on it's right front side. On reaching Darjeeling he wanted to left us near Mall and agreed to stay on Rs 500/-extra pay, to take us back to hotel. Day3: For Zoo visit, he dropped us in the middle of road, inspite of the  site lady police officer warned him and booked him for a penalty. Being old at 65+ , myself & wife had to walk uphill @800ft.to reach the zoo gate. Though most of cars going up to zoo gate to drop and pick tourist at the zoo gate, the driver and it's owner didn't agreed for lousy reasons, inspite of repeated requests. Day 4& Day5: On my repeated objections against the ill and deficient services, the driver and car was changed. One thing to note: Though they provide AC cars, but they don't want to run AC, even on this hot summer days, in downhill and plain ground roads even--just to save some fuels, though you are paying for that.
