Detailed Itinerary
On arrival at Guwahati airport / Railway Station you will be board to your vehicle and transfer to Shillong. On the way to Shillong visit: Umium Lake. Arrive and check in to hotel. After check in go to visit: Don Boscho Museum, 7 the Golf course, House of Rabindra Nath Tagore, Thereafter, we will drive to the shilling peak (Shillong View Point) Overnight stay in Shillong.
From Shillong jaunt to the cleanest village in Asia- Mawlynnong. Get to visit: region’s most famous places marked by paved paths and lovely flowerbeds, and also featuring waterfalls. Next: Living Root Bridge / Double Decker Root Bridge steep rivulets, an acacia grove, and a great view of the distant Bangladeshi plains. A day in this hamlet offers a glimpse into the Khasis' lifestyle with the village headman being responsible for the tourist’s comfortable stay at the village. Also visit the Dawki River and India Bangladesh border. Drive back to Shillong and have arestful sleep at the hotel. After breakfast go for visit Cherrapunjee. Today you are going to visit – Mawsmai Cave, Mawsmai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls and Nohkalikai Falls. Back to your hotel at Shillong. Overnight in Shillong
After breakfast, check out from the Shillong hotel and set for heading to Kaziranga. Check in at the hotel and rest comfortably. Overnight stay in Kaziranga.
Have breakfast at the hotel and prepare for the safari. Enjoy elephant-back rides as you travel around the Kaziranga Park. Get to see the most attractive species of the park- the endangered One-Horned Rhino. Apart from the famous One-Horned Rhino, get to witness numerous other creatures including tigers, elephants, panthers, and bears, thousands of birds, all found in the heart of Assam- The Kaziranga National Park. Morning starts the Full day sightseeing in and around this capital city of Assam , covering Kamakhya Temple ( time taken around 2 to 3 hours ) – Situated on top of the Nilachal Hill, Maa Kamakhya Temple is the most sacred among the tantrik shrines of Shakti worship in the world, Next : Birla Temple. Back to hotel. Overnight at Gangtok.
